Arguably the greatest two man combo in nba history came to play in the 2002 finals, especially in game 3 where they combined to score 71 points in the 106-103 win over Jason Kidd's New Jersey Nets. Bryant had 36 points including two huge jumpers down the stretch and O'Neal finished with 35 points and 11 rebounds.
Jerry West aka The Logo aka Mr. Clutch hits the game winning shot as time expires. West won it for the West! This shot helped solidify him as the MVP of the 1972 all star game.
Everyone's seen a basketball shot go in on a lucky bounce but nobody has gotten said lucky bounce at a more opportune time then Don Nelson in game 7 of the 1969 NBA finals. With less than a 1:30 left to go in the game the Celtics only had a 1 point lead but a near steal by Keith Erickson got the ball into Don Nelson's hands who puts up the shot that sealed the deal for Boston. This magical shot hit the back of the rim launching the ball 6 feet in the air only so it could drop back down straight through the net giving the Celtics a 105-102 lead. The Celtics would ice the game with free throws and go on to win it 108-106 despite Jerry West (the finals MVP) averaging 38 ppg in the series and having 42 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in the game 7. This win gave the Celtics their 11th championship in 13 seasons further cementing their dynasty.

I'm not a basketball expert nor a basketball historian but this was most likely the best day Bob McAdoo ever had while playing in the NBA. It's game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals and Bob McAdoo receives two coveted awards before Tip-off, the scoring title for the year along with being crowned the leagues MVP. McAdoo came into the game averaging 35 ppg in the series and looking to tie it at 2-2. The Hall of Fame player Bob McAdoo, who was mostly known for his shooting touch, finished the game with 50 points 1 assist and 21 rebounds in the Braves win. It's also worth mentioning that McAdoo scored his 50 points without shooting a 3 pointer due mostly to the fact that the 3 point line didn't exist in the league at the time. The Buffalo Braves, the team McAdoo played for at the time, eventually moved to San Diego and became the Clippers (now the LA Clippers). Bob McAdoo still holds the Braves/Clippers record for most minutes played per game (40.1), field goals made per game (11.1) and field goal attempts per game (22.1). He was straight ballin.
